Do you remember taking that picture?

George Hallett
Yes, I remember walking past shops and then waiting for something to happen because you just don’t photograph an empty store-front. And these kids came out and they saw me in that split second, you know, and I took it.

I’m beginning to loosen up by speaking to conceptual artists, video artists, painters, sculptors; I’m trying to get out of the box, so like we spoke earlier on about street photographers, they just do that, and the performer on the other side creates the picture.

I’m beginning to loosen up to the possibilities that photography has infinite possibilities that we must begin to explore. I think the exploration begins in your mind’s eye. If you loosen that up and go out of the frame, out of that physical confinement, you’re on the right track.
